To conduct a patch test, apply a small quantity of the product on a clean patch of skin on the upper forearm. Keep the patch dry. If the product instructions specify a usage time, wash off the product after the time has passed. If no time is specified, wash it off after 24 hours. If any reaction like redness, itchiness, burning, blistering or anywhere irritation occurs, refrain from using the product.
