The Olaplex system consists of 9 key steps. Two of these steps are completed as salon-specific treatments, so your at-home Olaplex routine will begin with Olaplex No.0 Intensive Bond Building Treatment 155ml, the at-home treatment inspired by professionals. This treatment primes the hair to absorb nourishment, repairing damage caused by chemical, mechanical and environmental aggressors. It’s most effective when used with the next step.
The next step is Olaplex’s most known and popular product; OLAPLEX No. 3 Hair Perfector 100ml. This is a pre-shampoo treatment to be used weekly or as needed, helping to soften hair, control frizz, add shine, and, of course, replenish and relink weakened bonds. Free from silicones and oils, it provides immediate results. This can be used before you shampoo or as an overnight treatment.
Next in the Olaplex routine are the Olaplex No.4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo 250ml and Olaplex No.5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner 250ml. These can be used as your regular shampoo and conditioner to hydrate, restore and protect your tresses whilst repairing shattered bonds caused by heat damaged, chemical treatments and external aggressors such as UV rays and humidity.
For oily hair or hair susceptible to product build-up, check out the Olaplex No.4C Bond Maintenance Clarifying Shampoo 250ml to deeply clean the scalp, and for blonde and lightened hair, we recommend using the Olaplex No.4P Blonde Enhancer Toning Shampoo 250ml once per week or as needed to neutralise brassy tones and reveal a fresh, bright toned hue. And for those in-between wash days, look no further than the Olaplex No.4D Clean Volume Detox Dry Shampoo, complete with light-as-air dry cleansing technology for a refreshed scalp and hair. As a weekly treatment, we recommend the Olaplex No.8 Bond Intense Moisture Mask 100ml, a reparative hair mask to smooth, add body and shine to hair whilst providing tresses with a boost of moisture.
Following the mask is the Olaplex No.6 Bond Smoother. This leave-in treatment is designed to moisturise, strengthen, protect and eliminate frizz and flyaways for up to 72 hours. It also speeds up blow dry time!
Use the highly concentrated, weightless Olaplex No.7 Bonding Oil 30ml to improve your colour’s vibrancy, add shine and protect hair from heat up to 450°F, ideal for using to protect against damage from hot styling tools.
